We moved back to my hometown in June. We had a hard time finding a place to live here, so we took the only house we could find at the time. We lived in that house for almost 3 months, then moved AGAIN into a bit bigger, alot nicer, house. We have lived in this new house for 1 month now. It has been a huge adjustment for us, moving to the "country." We are city people at heart, we love everything about the city. The busyness, the 'luxuries' you have, the vast diversity of people, the restaurants, the endless options you have at your fingertips...but we felt it was best if our girls grew up close to some family. We love it that grandmas and grandpas and cousins and aunts and uncles live only 5-30 minutes away. Visiting them no longer takes extensive planning, which is nice!
Abby is in Pre-K this year...they go to Pre-K ALL day, 5 days/week, which is alot!!! She loves school though. During Homecoming week, her class rode in a float and she thought it was the coolest thing ever! Our girls also went to their very first football game and loved watching the cheerleaders...go figure! They ate suckers, sang the school song, and cheered with the cheerleaders. We sat in the middle 2nd row the girls were in heaven!!! When we left, Abby said "Mom, did you see those cheerleaders? Weren't they BEAUTIFUL???" Oh, to see the world in the eyes of a 4 year old!
